Brigadier General (Retired) Khaled Ismail Salameh is a security professional and retired Jordanian Armed Forces service member who was born in Zarqa, Jordan in 1959 and holds a MSc. in Nuclear Engineering, Centre for Nuclear Studies from Islamabad, Pakistan (1998) and a BSc. in Chemical Engineering from ND, United States (1986). Following his higher education, Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Salameh joined the Jordanian Armed Forces as a lieutenant engineer in 1986 and was retired in August 2018. He then went on to head the National Center for Nuclear and Radiological Security (2017-2020) and is currently the General Manager of ROCK for Security Services and Consultation, GHQ-JAF (2020-present).
From 1986-1999, Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Salameh served as the Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical (NBC) Field Officer and NBC Technical Staff Officer with the Chemical Support Unit for the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) Engineering Corps. He continued his armed service as the International Cooperation Staff Officer within the International Cooperation Department under the Directorate of Strategic Planning, GHQ-JAF & on-call lecturer with UNMOVIC, United Nations (1999-2007). From 2007-2010, Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Salameh served as the International Cooperation Staff Office with the International Cooperation Department under the Directorate of Strategic Planning, GHQ-JAF & on-call lecturer with UNMOVIC, United Nations.
