Melisa Margraves currently leads the North America Healthcare and Life Sciences sales organization at HPE. In this role she is responsible for developing the go-to-market, overall sales strategy, marketing plan, and driving sales growth. Additionally, she is focused on creating and expanding key C-level relationships within HPE’s largest healthcare, life science, medical device and pharma accounts. She is also the executive sponsor to key partners and customers at HPE. Melisa leads an expansive team across North America that covers accounts both domestically and globally.

Melisa joined HP/HPE in 2009 and her background in IT spans across data, data protection, business continuity, security and disaster recovery, and has held additional leadership roles at HPE leading teams who sell these types of solutions to their largest accounts. Most recently she led the Top Accounts sales team for HPE’s Global Sales organization. In this role, Melisa oversaw strategic planning, revenue growth, and financial performance, along with fostering executive relationships between HPE and its customers across all industries and has also served in leadership roles including Storage District Manager, BCS Manager and EAM Director.

 

Prior to HPE, Melisa has been in sales roles at Isilon, Commvault Systems and EMC.  Melisa has a BA from San Jose State University with a minor in Journalism as well as an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Certificate from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. She serves as an Advisory Board Member for Ayuda Health as well as a Board Member for HPE's Diversity Startup Program. She has been on numerous panels and a speaker for key customer events. She resides in the Bay Area with her husband and daughter. Melisa enjoys travel, sports, scuba diving, volunteer work, mentoring and watching her daughter cheer or dance ballet.
